Ezzel a rejtéssel szeretnélek meghívni benneteket egy hosszabb erdei sétára.
A debreceni Nagyerdő területén különleges védett növényfajok és állatok élnek, nevét hatalmas, 100–120 éves fáiról kapta. Az erdőt a 18. században parkká nyilvánították, majd 1939-ben 1. sorszámmal jegyezték be a védett természeti területek törzskönyvébe. Az országos jelentőségű védett természeti terület a Natura 2000 hálózat része. Az erdő legfőbb problémája a szárazodás, az idős tölgyesek leromlása, az invazív és tájidegen özönfajok jelenléte és az illegális hulladéklerakás. Ezek megakadályozásában a Hortobágyi Nemzeti Park közmunkaprogramja jelent segítséget. Sokat javított az erdő állapotán a Nyírerdő Zrt. erdőfelújítása is, a Debreceni Egyetem Botanikus Kertje pedig uniós támogatással társulás-rekonstrukciós programot indít a közeljövőben.
A védett terület Debrecen belterületén található, az 1092 hektáros védett terület a település északi felében az egyetemvárosi résznél található meg.
A védetté nyilvánítás célja a Magyarországon elsőként védetté nyilvánított öreg tölgyes és a környező erdőtársulások megőrzése az utókor számára.
A körtúra járt turistautakon halad, bejàrhatò 2-3 óra alatt.
Pallagra menet útba ejthető a pallagi tv-torony is.
Úgy rejtsél kérlek vissza mindent, ahogy találtad.
Tollat vigyél magaddal.

With this cache I would like to invite you to take a long walk in the woods.
Debrecen's Nagyerdő is home to special protected species of plants and animals, and is named after its huge 100-120-year-old trees. The forest was declared a park in the 18th century, and in 1939 it was entered in the register of protected natural areas under number 1. The protected natural area of national importance is part of the Natura 2000 network. The forest's main problems are drought, the degradation of mature oak stands, the presence of invasive and alien species and illegal dumping. The Hortobágy National Park's public works programme helps to prevent these. The Nyírerdő Zrt. forest restoration project has also greatly improved the condition of the forest, and the University of Debrecen Botanical Garden will launch a partnership reconstruction programme with EU support in the near future.
The protected area is located in the inner area of Debrecen, the protected area of 1092 hectares is located in the northern part of the town, at the University Town.
The aim of the protection is to preserve for posterity the old oak and the surrounding forest communities, which were the first to be declared protected in Hungary.
