Chinook Wind

Visit King County and Tukwila's new salmon estuary and passive park. What once used to be a run down hotel, is now a place where juvenile salmon can rest, feed, and grow. All while transitioning from freshwater to saltwater. The Chinook Wind Mitigation Project represents a significant step towards restoring the ecological health of the Duwamish River and supporting the recovery of threatened salmon populations.
