I had been up Rancheria Road from the mouth of the canyon a couple of times before but only to a certain point. With a newly purchased vehicle, I was wanting to hit some dirt roads but nothing too crazy. I explored Rancheria further than I ever have before and was enlightened at how drastic the landscape changed once you hit a certain elevation. It was a fun day of exploring and I had to hide a cache to remember my maiden voyage in my new vehicle. You may be entering or leaving Sequoia National Forest, but either way, there is a cache to be found! Enjoy!
