Geocache Description:

**This geocache is at the posted coordinates, but to log it online as found, you also need to complete the following challenge**

**As per state trooper request, please don't stop on the side of the road. Park in the various pullouts and side roads then walk. A permanent solution / alternative locations are being researched**

Your challenge is to have attended CITOs at least 10 different months (MMYYYY). The year matters for this one, so May 2023 and May 2024 counts as separate months. Your qualifying CITOs can be from any location, and be any terrain.

I personally qualify and you can see if you qualify by using this challenge checker:

This challenge cache is part of the B2RH series that asks, "have you Been 2 the Rural Highway"? It is a mix of difficulties ranging from novice up to pretty tough. Sign them all and who knows, you might qualify before you know it. All hides are on the east side of the road, favoring northbound travel. There is enough space on the shoulder for your vehicle and please do park completely off the road. This road is a public right of way and we are allowed to park on the side of the road. Local law enforcement knows about these geocaches and we had an understanding they would spread the word amongst other law enforcement. You should have no trouble for 'loitering' but if passing local motorists give you a puzzled look, holding your phone as though 'photographing the mountains' is excellent cover story / stealth mode here.

In winter this area can be windswept completely bare, or buried in 6' snow drifts; it is hard to predict. Every hide is on the top fence rail, in a barrier, or in a signpost, so they should be reasonable to find if you find yourself reaching for a snow shovel. The nearest gas station (or store, bathroom, restaurant...) is either about 16 miles south east in Cokeville WY, or about 19 miles north west in Montpellier ID. Bring sensible supplies like water, food, sunscreen, blankets, possibly snowshoes... whatever you need for the season. Signal is patchy on some networks due to the Sublette Mountains you are in the shadow of, so consider pre-downloading the series.

While this is a mini power trail, the containers are mostly tied in place and they are not available to cache swap or three cache monty. Please leave them in place. Have fun and stay safe.
