East Leake Village Hall opened in 1935, the funding to build this amenity was spearheaded by the East Leake Women's Institute and supported by other organisations within the village. Newer additions were added in the late 1980s.
Today the hall is available for hire and benefits from a wide range of user groups providing a variety of activities for residents of East Leake, young and older. The hall hosts the Village Show held on the first Saturday of September each year and holds regular craft fairs, particularly the Christmas Fair, which is the same day as the Christmas lights switch-on.
The Village Hall is a charity (No 217061) and managed by a group of volunteer trustees and committee members. The Parish Council hold the building and land as Custodian Trustees to ensure that the village always benefits from this asset.
The cache is not at the listed co-ords nor do you need to visit that location, but of course you may, though it wouldn't help find the cache!
