Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series of caches which are placed at or near village halls and community centres. For details and statistics visit the Village Hall Series website Click here

East Leake Village Hall opened in 1935, the funding to build this amenity was spearheaded by the East Leake Women's Institute and supported by other organisations within the village. Newer additions were added in the late 1980s.

Today the hall is available for hire and benefits from a wide range of user groups providing a variety of activities for residents of East Leake, young and older. The hall hosts the Village Show held on the first Saturday of September each year and holds regular craft fairs, particularly the Christmas Fair, which is the same day as the Christmas lights switch-on.

The Village Hall is a charity (No 217061) and managed by a group of volunteer trustees and committee members. The Parish Council hold the building and land as Custodian Trustees to ensure that the village always benefits from this asset.

Village Hall Series #1671 - East Leake

The cache is not at the listed co-ords nor do you need to visit that location, but of course you may, though it wouldn't help find the cache!

To find the cache, first solve the puzzle then visit the Village Hall at waypoint 'P1'. Next, concatenate numbers on the larger of two signs found at the left-hand end of a cabinet, in the order displayed - call this ABCDE

Substitute in the formula obtained either by completing the jigsaw in this listing or the nearby associated Notts Labcache.

This is also Bonus Cache #06 for the Notts Labcache geo-art series
