Mas não só em doçaria é rica a gastronomia da Freguesia. Comer em Valongo é comer em qualidade e os apreciadores da boa mesa podem regalar-se com outros petiscos. As nossas Bifanas e Francesinhas são uma iguaria imperdível e o Arroz de Cabidela fará as delícias de muitos visitantes e turistas quando o experimentarem.
When talking about Valongo it is imperabtive to highlight the traditional Bread, Regueifa and Biscuits, but the gastronomy of this Parish is very rich and we have other traditional dishes that stand out and require a stop in the Parish to be tasted.
The delicious bowls of Dry Soups made with bread, an excellent product of the parish, are much appreciated and have enormous historical value, which is why they should be protected and disseminated.
