Geocache Description:

In 2012 a metal spacecraft crashed at Tatton Park near Knusford in Cheshire. The authorities quickly claimed that it was part of the Biennial art exhibition that had always been been due to happen and gathered other large artworks around it. Most people bought into this story and were convinced by full histories of two previous binenials. Newspapers at the time quicky claimed it was the work of Dinu Li, a lecturer at the University of Chester. It was said be be called Vex, inspired by by 1950s B-movies.

That might be what happened. Maybe it really is art or perhaps the truth is out there; I'll let you be the judge.

Either way it is visible today from the pavement that runs past the Creative Campus of Chester University.

Please replace as found and when logging let me know if you think it is ART or ALIEN.

Placed for Blue Switch Day 2025 as part of the 2005 Sci Fi themed Worldwide Cache Hide

You are looking for a small tube. There is no need to enter the university grounds.

Congratulations and FTF honours go to martin&lindabryn however, next in line to be beamed up and making it very soon afterwards on the day the cache crashed were teamhorbury, BBebb, Bazonka, GeoBEATS, DevaLobsters and Irishrob88.
