Welcome to the Montford circular!
The church of St Mary, has cannon damage from the civil war
The cache is just down the road, hopefully by this point in the walk you will not need reviving!
I found this walk after going out to take a look at the Darwin family tomb and finding nowhere to park! It's another close to home walk for me and fair at 4 miles. There is plenty of parking at the Parish Hall. Due to narrow lanes, drive-by's are not advised.
This is a walk of 19 caches on about about 4 miles of good (if muddy!) paths and quiet country lanes. The caches are a mix of small boxes, sneaky hides and I've thrown in a Field Puzzle to frustrate you! A terrain rating of 2.5 is given for the length of the walk, it's almost entirely flat.
The route follows the bridleway and takes in two local churches, castle ruins, the odd pond and the old drovers road, you can find a map of the route here
