Along the Pioneer Path Traditional Cache

This cache has been placed for the 2025 Six More Weeks of Winter event hosted by the Wilderness Center Geocaching Club. 

Take a walk on the Pioneer Path where you will pass the site of the Kilgore homestead and a natural spring. Very little of the original foundation still exists. The spring runs underground from the hillside you are standing on to where it was dammed to create a cooling area for food preservation.
