This area is an oasis of wildlife in a semi-urban area. In the fall, you will find the stream full of spawning salmon. Eagles, hawks and other birds frequent the wetlands.
When you log your visit, please write down what type of wildlife you saw. I added a Field Card Logbook to record any birds that you see. Please leave this logbook in the cache.
WARNING: During times of localized flooding, this stream may go over its banks...when this happens, the final cache will still be accessible. Use caution and wear tall rubber boots, or plan on getting wet feet, if you attempt to find the cache during times of flooding.
Suggested Parking: N47 47.483 W122 12.149 (It is a busy street, so be careful, or park elsewhere)...
This is a 4 stage multi-cache. Following the waypoints will take you on scenic trip, about one mile long. The first three stages are all virtual caches, containing keys to get you to the next waypoint. The final cache is a small ammunition box.
The original contents include the Barney Bear travel bug, log book, recorder, toy binoculars, jump rope, dinosaurs, golf PC game, and much more.
