This is a 2 site multi-cache located within the village of Waterloo, NY. Cache is dedicated to our Veterans of Foreign Wars who paid the ultimate price.Good Luck!
The posted coordinates will take you to a Veterans' Monument in the village of Waterloo, NY. From the monument you will find the information to calculate the coordinates to the cache box location. The cache box contains items of interest to service men and women. If possible try to carry on the theme. (Total veterans in first calculation include only WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.)
Calculations to site #2:
Latitude - SUBTRACT:
5 times the total number of named
Veterans minus 5 from the decimal
portion of the posted latitude.
Longitude - ADD: 3 times the World
War I named Veterans, plus 2 times
the World War II named Veterans,
plus 5 times the VietNam War
Veterans, plus one less than the
Korean War named Veterans to the
decimal portion of the posted
longitude.
(You might want to bring your calculator along on this one.)
