Chocolate Frog Cards (also known as Famous Witches and Wizards Cards) were trading cards in Harry Potter, that displayed pictures of famous witches and wizards and gave small amounts of information about them. The cards were obtained by buying Chocolate Frogs, the container of which had a random card inside. The frogs usually hop away leaving only the cards behind.
There are many different packs of cards available. Besides the wizards and witches that come in regular, bronze, gold, and bonus cards you can find dragon, giant and beast cards.
Solve the following puzzle to locate the Chocolate Frog. Hurry up before he hops away.
When I first started collecting them I didn't always go for the well known wizards and witches. One of my first cards was a gold witch card of Carlotta Pinkston. I just liked her name. In the pursuit for more cards I found a famous giant Morholt. Then the next one was one of my favorite dragons the Romanian Longhorn. I then decided I needed to focus on more wizards. I was able to find one of the more popular ones, Godric Gryffindor's bonus card. Who wouldn't want a wizard from the most popular house in Hogwarts. My next card was wizard named Glanmore Peaks. His was a Famous Wizard Card. He slayed the serpent of Cromer.
As I started geocaching more I stopped collecting for a while, but then I started seeing the cards surface again, so I decided to take another look at them. I wasn't sure which of the next two cards I like more they were equal in value to me. They were the bonus cards of Albus Dumbledore and Rowena Ravenclaw. I found them together. Following along the same lines I was looking for the other wizards of the houses of Hogworts. The next one I came across was the bonus card of Helga Hufflepuff. She is probably the most underrated wizards of the Hogworts houses. When I spotted the Billywig beast card I had to have it, too. It is a vivid sapphire blue insect native to Australia. Australia is my top travel destination on my bucket list. Then I was finally able to get the last bonus card for the final house in Hogworts Salazar Slytherin. I was overjoyed to have the whole set now. My search for special cards didn't end until I found the Unicorn beast card. I've been a huge fan of unicorns since I was a kid. I still have a few special ones in my house. I think I will have to stop for now because my house is starting to get cluttered with my treasures.
