La cache fa parte della serie Produzioni ininterrotte, progetto di valorizzazione della memoria del lavoro che vi porterà ad immaginare storie del territorio bergamasco ormai scomparse (o quasi) che hanno lasciato delle tracce nascoste.
E’ dal 1868 che nell’edificio che vi trovate di fronte si produce carta, inizialmente utilizzando stracci! Questa azienda si contraddistingue da subito per l’eccellenza qualitativa data dall'impiego di macchinari tecnologicamente all'avanguardia e dalla formazione di una forza lavoro sempre più numerosa e motivata a perseguire l'ottimizzazione nelle nuove produzioni. Con grande lungimiranza, il direttore introduce la produzione di materiale cartotecnico e di cancelleria per la quale si pone una cura all’estetica dei prodotti, sempre attenti ad assecondare i gusti del mondo giovanile. Nel maggio 2012 viene inaugurata una nuova sede sempre in Alzano Lombardo. Inizia così un progetto di recupero della sede storica che da’ alla luce il nuovo “Spazio Fase” caratterizzato da più di 33.000 mq sviluppati su tre piani in cui gli spazi liberty vengono restituiti al territorio in una nuova veste sostenibile, creativa e dinamica. È questa un'area per eventi, uno spazio destinato alla promozione di iniziative culturali, sociali e ambientali. Un luogo giovane che brulica di entusiasmo. Un punto d’incontro di esperienze nazionali e internazionali.
