Letos mineva 25 let od kar se je geocaching (geolov po slovensko) prvič pojavil. To je pustolovska igra, kjer gre za iskanje zakladov s pomočjo GPS-naprave ali pametnega telefona. Igralci (geolovci) uporabljajo koordinate objavljene na spletni platformi, da najdejo skrite posode (geozaklade), ki so lahko različnih velikosti in težavnosti.
V geozakladu je običajno dnevnik (logbook), kamor se geolovec vpiše, včasih pa tudi majhni predmeti za izmenjavo. Nekateri zakladi vsebujejo tudi posebne sledljive predmete (Travel Bug ali Geocoin), ki imajo edinstveno kodo in potujejo od zaklada do zaklada.
