Geocache Description:

Get a panoramic view of the region from one of the highest points you can access here: a 30-foot-tall lookout tower that sits atop a drumlin that was formed by glaciers. We promise it’s worth the climb to the top! The area is part of a glacial feature known as Oak Lake Island, a series of large drumlins that formed an island in glacial Lake Iroquois.

If you're visiting in the spring or summer, plan to come back again in the fall and check out the view from the tower when the vibrant colours of the changing leaves take over the landscape.

This area is managed by Lower Trent Conservation. Please respect the conservation areas every time you visit. Be sure to stay on the marked trails, take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints.
