The town of Delia (actually it's just a village) is a special place. Growing up there, it was obvious that the people there care about Delia, the community, and each other, and are proud to live there.
Over the years I've come to realize that Delia punches above its weight class. I don't mean that in the sense that Delia or people from Delia regularly outperform bigger communities (though that has happened). I mean that in the sense, even despite its small size, it has made an impact on the world and people around it, bigger than its relative size.
People from Delia share this special bond that comes out so immediately and evidently as soon as they see each other, no matter where or when that happens. It can happen completely out of the blue anywhere in the world whenever they cross paths with each other. They have this special unspoken connection that comes from this shared history that unites them instantaneously.
Most of my friends know I grew up in Delia and am happy to talk about my life then. It's amazing for me to see while I'm in the midst of a conversation and Delia comes up, suddenly how many other random people out there know about Delia, have even been there, or are somehow otherwise related to the village in one way or other. I ask you - how that is even possible when you consider the population of Delia is only 146 people? When people explain their connection for Delia, sometimes it seems so innocuous, insignificant, minor but yet memorable to them.
People from Delia must stand out, be memorable to others. As soon as you meet someone from Delia, it seems you'll always remember that person and where they are from so that whenever Delia just happens to come in a random conversation later, you'll recall that person and their connection to Delia.
I sometimes joke to test the true universality of Delia, people should ask "Are you from Delia?" as an icebreaker whenever they meet someone new. I'll bet you'll be surprised by some of the responses you get back.
This series of caches honours Delia as it seems like no matter where you are, where you're from, you'll somehow unintentionally or inadvertently cross paths with Delia or someone from Delia. It's like all roads lead to Delia. As you complete this series from whatever direction, you'll discover it's happening to you too.

Finding This Cache
For those of you who aren't familar with Reverse Wherigos, it requires you to download the Wherigo cartridge created by -Waldmeister- and have a Wherigo player compatible app and/or device. This Wherigo cartridge is available to download from wherigo.com.
The Wherigo cartridge then converts your Wherigo player into a virtual version of the "Reverse Cache Box" which tells you the distance to the cache, but not which direction or bearing. This means you may begin your search from any spot in the world using your smartphone, tablet or Wherigo compatible GPS to navigate to the cache. You do not need data services for the player to work but you must have your location services turned on.
Your task is to find the cache by periodically querying your Reverse Cache Box for the distance to the final location. Try to use your Reverse Cache Box as few times as possible. Once you are within 25m from the final, your player will give you the exact coordinates of the final. All instructions and necessary information needed to complete the cartridge is contained within it. The cartridge is multilingual.
For the fun to begin, you will have to type these three codes into your Wherigo player:

It is recommended that you keep these codes with you during your search as they will be needed if you have to restart your player for any reason.
The final location will contain a log book for you to sign. If you do not sign the log book, you can not log this cache as found.
Optional:
Once you have reached the final, you will be given some statistics on your quest. If you wish, you may enter those details into your log and also post the number of times you queried your player for the distance.
At the end of the game, you will be also given a personal pass-code which you can use to create your own reverse Wherigo cache. Save this code. If you are ever interested in creating your own reverse Wherigo cache, start the cartridge, then select "create" instead of "play" and you will be prompted to enter that pass-code.
Do NOT access this cache from Highway 9. Please use the nearby side road instead.
Please remember to be respectful of the cache location. Be aware of how and where the cache is "attached" so that it can be put back in exactly the same way and in the same place for the next person(s) to enjoy. The container may not be accessible during the winter months.
