It was March 11, 2016 on a sunny winter day outside of Niagara Falls, New York. Two curious newbies approached a pine tree on the side of a country road. We were told that something was hidden in it, and low and behold, there it was! A tiny object could be seen dangling from a branch, shining in the sunlight. Could there really be something inside it? Oh my gosh! Yes!

I will never forget my first Geocache! It was entitled "Pine Hide." And every time I think about it, it still gives me chills. It was a magical moment fueled by the thrill of discovery. The exhilaration of victory led to an intense feeling of satisfaction. But it soon wore off, leaving us hungry for more!

Sadly, Pine Hide was archived a few years ago. Therefore, it brings me great joy to commemorate this first milestone in my Geocaching career by placing "Pine Hide 2.0" as a tribute!
