*** The Series ***
"One Yer Bike - Camberwick Green" is a small series of caches around the village of Camberwick Green (AKA Elsted), which is designed to be done by bike (or tricycle as Windy Miller would do it), and as such all hides are close to the roadside and there's no need to abandon your bike to hike off for a find.
Recommended parking is by the Village Hall/Sports field below, where you can safely unrack your bike.
If you park at the recommended parking then the route is about 7km, including a couple of legs out & back and includes 1 moderate climb.
While this is designed to be done by bike it can of course be walked too. If you wanted to drive it then there aren't really many places along the route to pull over and park while hunting so I wouldn't recommend it.
Whether you're cycling, walking or driving you'll find that the roads can be very narrow and while not very busy please exercise due care at all times as we wouldn't want to call out Dr. Mopp or the Trumpton fire brigade to attend any unfortunate accidents.
There's a pub in Elsted for refreshments if required.
If you're feeling energetic then you could couple this series with tours of the other villages in Trumptonshire, namely:
OYB - Camberwick Green : Windy Miller (~7km, circular)
OYB - Chigley : Lord Belborough (~4.5km, circular)
OYB - Trumpton : The Mayor (~9km)
or see Tour de Trumptonshire for all caches in Trumptonshire (~22km as a round trip).
*** The TV show ***
Camberwick Green was a stop motion animated children's TV show produced in 1966 being the first of the trilogy which later added Trumpton and Chigley, all 3 a staple of many children's TV viewing (mine included).
Camberwick Green is a small rural village, which is also the home to Pippin Fort.
Each episode of the show starts with a small musical box which rotates and as the triangular segments of the top open a different character appears, the narrator then asks the character what they're doing today and the episode follows their day which involves some minor domestic issue. At the end of each episode the character is seen disappearing back into the musical box.cam
The show is rather incongruous in terms of the "feel", Dr Mopp is dressed as an Edwardian and drives what looks like an early 1900's car, while Windy Miller operates a windmill with no technology, and the boys at Pippin Fort seem to be dressed in 18th Century uniforms, on the other hand Mr Dagenham the car salesman has a personal helicopter.
Did you watch Camberwick Green as a child? If so tell me about it in your logs!
*** The Character ***

Mr 'Windy' Miller is the village miller who who keeps Colley's Mill, rides a tricycle, values tradition and likes a swig of cider, in fact one episode revolves around Windy passing out after drinking too much!. In many eyes Windy is the "Star" of the show. He appears in every episode.
*** The Cache ***
You're looking for a small clip-lock box.
