We've been lied to our whole lives, from early childhood on we are taught that a frog says ribbit. Fun fact, there is only one type of frog that makes the "ribbit" sound.
The sounds that frogs make are not what you'd expect. Did you know that there are frogs that chirp? Others can whistle, croak, ribbit, peep, cluck, bark and grunt.
Fun fact we just learned: The only frog in the world to actually go “ribbit” is in the Pacific Northwest.
It’s called the Pacific chorus frog, and Washington made it the official state amphibian in 2007.
Scientists refer to their ribbit as a croak. Males call out to females, and then other males join in.
After all that knowledge it's time to talk about the cache. The cache is on provate property with homeowner's permission. Please be respectful of the property, do not walk in the flowers or tear up the landscaping. The cache should be visible from far away, if you do not see it, that means it is not there. Do not be loud, do not come too late at night or too early in the morning, 10pm to 7am is off limits. If someone is sitting outside say hello. You can park across the street or in the driveway, but someone may need in or out of the driveway so be prepared to move if that's the parking you choose. I don't see an issue with driveway parking and if it does become an issue I will clearly state on here.
Congrats to maxanderma on FTF!
