These are the crossroads of the Green Dune Trail.
The Green Dune is a several-kilometer-long sand ridge covered with pine forest, formed as the ancient shoreline of the Littorina Sea. Around 4,500 years ago, the Littorina Sea receded, and today the dune is surrounded by forests and marshes. To explore the ancient shoreline and the diversity of the forest, Ķemeri National Park has created a hiking and cycling route here.
At this trail intersection, beavers have found their home in a small stream.
If the water level is high, access to the cache may be challenging.
