25 years of caches! WOW! I only started caching a handful of years ago so I missed the early hayday but over the years I have seen several very unique and imaginative cache builds. They are all wonderful but as many of you might know I am most partial to utilizing natural camoes on the construction of my caches. were you aware that STICKS make great cache camoes? Stumps are short fat sticks, UPS (means Unusual Pile of sticks) is a term used to reference using sticks to camo caches. On several occasions I have simply drilled a hole in a stick and inserted a bison tube. The point is that UNLIKE TUPPERWARE IN THE WOODS, sticks blend in very well and can be designed to set a cache at any number of different winter friendly heights.
Im sure in reading this you are quickly coming to the realization that once again I have created a STICK CACHE and placed it in a spot with other sticks.
I hope you enjoy stick caches as much as I do.
PS for the theme of 25 I made certain that there were at least 25 other sticks (some stuck to the ground with roots) within 15m of the cache...You're Welcome
Happy Caching!
