Slnečná energia
je hnacím motorom života na Zemi. Ohrieva povrch Zeme, oceány a atmosféru, vytvára vietor, spôsobuje odparovanie vody, poháňa vodné toky. Dopadá na Zem vo forme žiarenia a skladá z elektromagnetických vĺn. Vieme ju premeniť na tepelnú (cez kolektor) aj elektrickú energiu (napr fotovoltika). Zo slnečnej energie pochádzajú aj fosílne palivá a ostatné obnoviteľné zdroje energie – veterná a vodná aj energia biomasy.
Keška: Krátkodobo sa pri keške dá postáť TDI, závisí samozrejme od aktuálnej dopravnej situácie. Nachádza sa v stĺpiku plota, pod čiernou krytkou.

Solar energy is the driving force of life on Earth. It heats the Earth's surface, oceans and atmosphere, creates wind, causes water evaporation, and drives water flows. It reaches the Earth in the form of radiation and consists of electromagnetic waves. We can convert it into thermal (via a collector) and electrical energy (e.g. photovoltaics). Fossil fuels and other renewable energy sources – wind, water and biomass energy – also come from solar energy.
