There is actually another pond a little further down from Futatsuikeshimoike. Depending on the season, the pond may dry up or become a swamp, but I recently learned that this was originally a forest of endangered alder trees. It seems that a forest regeneration project will start here in the future. The surrounding conditions seem to have changed a lot, and I am a little worried about losing it, but it is a nice place, so I decided to set up a cache.

ふたつ池下池の更に下のちょっと奥まった所に、実はもう一つ池があります。季節によっては枯れていたり、沼になっていたりもする場所ですが、最近ここがそもそも絶滅危惧種のハンノキの林だったのを知りました。そして今後ここで林の再生プロジェクトが始まるようです。周辺状況の変化が大きそうで、若干ロストの不安も感じますが、素敵な場所なのでキャッシュを設置してみました。
