This is an additional geocache placed in the Upper Swansea Valley and South Powys area to extend geocaching options placed for the 2023 Annual South Wales Event. This particular route is NOT wheelchair accessible and the cache remains unnumbered so you can make the trail as long or as short as you want. Waypoints are provided to aid guidance from the A4067, navigation from the opposite direction should be easier to identify.
Horses may be present in the field between the two gates, before woodland begins.
You are looking for a small pill pot, contained within a cammo bag..
Follow waypoint arrows as footpath has been diverted from that on OS Maps.
This trail was used in the early 19th century by drovers moving their flocks of sheep en route to the London Markets. After passing the Little London cache, the trail can be very muddy and rough as it passes, uphill. through woodland until it reaches some flights of steep footsteps leading on to the kissing gate, which gives access to the metalled surface of a cycle path.
