Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Challenge

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is a book written by Newt Scamander detailing the field of Magizoology, the study of magical creatures.  It includes an A-Z of Fantastic Beasts, including Basilisks, Dragons, Hippogriffs, Nifflers and Unicorns.

While we may not have a plethora of magical creatures nearby (that I know of at least!), Australia does have its own collection of dangerous animals.

To complete this challenge, you need to find:

  • 250 caches with the Dangerous Animals attribute

The container is NOT at the posted coordinates.  You may visit and sign the log at any time.   If you do not yet qualify, you may add a “Write Note”, however you may only log a “Found It” if the checker below gives you the green tick, indicating that you have qualified.

There is no need to attach an evidence list of qualifying caches, nor wait for CO confirmation; if the checker gives you a green tick indicating you have qualified, you are welcome to log your find. The CO can independently verify whether success criteria have been met. You must sign the physical log. You may do this before qualifying, but may only log online as found once all elements are satisfied

There is no restriction on found date or location of qualifying caches. Check to see if you qualify for this challenge using the link below.

This challenge complies with the 2016 Challenge Cache Guidelines, which can be found here.
