137 Crewe Rd, Haslington. CW1 5RG.
From 18:30 on Wednesday 9th April 2025

The event will keep to the established KT formula of food, drink and geochat.
The Hawk Inn is a cozy Grade II listed public house that was once used for stabling horses. It is rumoured that Dick Turpin once stayed here, but they all say that don't they? The Inn did have a mortuary at one time and has a resident ghost known as the ‘Lady in Grey’.
The pub boasts carved woodwork both inside and out, including various carved faces and several engraved phrases on the exterior beams.
It has benefited from an extensive refurbishment late on in 2023.
The Menu hopefully offers something suitable for everyone who wishes to eat and Wednesday is their "20% off mains" day. They have a few cask options if that sort of thing floats your goat.
Last orders for food is 19:45 sharp, but it would be appreciated by the venue if we can get our orders in well before this.
There is a car park behind the venue, accessed in the gap between the boozer and the Coop shop next door. There's no on-street parking in the immediate vicinity of the venue.
The event will officially end at 21:00 although you are of course welcome to be the LTL (last to leave) as late as you fancy!
They state on their website that they are a family and dog friendly establishment, however dogs are not permitted in the room we have reserved.
Please remember to note in your log the number of attendees and whether or not you expect to be eating so I can keep the venue updated.
Please help me to help you by logging your attendance in good time.
All cachers are welcome to come along. The KT series of events do have some regular attendees and they warmly welcome all non-regular and brand new attendees. The event moves around the north west each month and attracts different people in each different venue. If you've not been to a KT event before, please do log a 'Will Attend' so we can look out for you.
Please do come and join in the fun. We would love to meet you.
There is no obligation to buy food to attend the event. It is absolutely fine to come along and just say hello.
