This cache is in the Mockridge Wildlife Preserve. Fairly easy trails to walk. It is North of Calamus in Clinton County. Park on 160th Ave.
This is a 75 acre pine forest teeming with wildlife. The cache is an ammo box. I think the large tree that oldtimer1 placed it under ten years ago is long gone (down) and his ammo box is gone, too. I searched the area pretty good and came up empty. The new ammo box is not far from the old GZ. If you can't find it, widen your search area as my GPSr really wanted to go dancing today. It is well hidden, but this where your geosense has to take over.
