Puffy's Great Big Adventure
Puffy is my pet bird, and I wrote a little story about one of his adventures. He loves toily rolls (toilet paper rolls) and goes crazy for them. He also bites anything that comes near when he has a roll. Here is the story:
Puffy was on top of the tall mountain jail. He looked down upon the valley. It was a 4 foot drop and somewhere down there, his favorite toily roll needed saving. Three, Two, One! he counted in his head as he prepared to jump. He made a big leap as he plummeted into the valley below. He could feel the cold wind pushing at his little feathered face. He opened his wings as he prepared to land and a tiny, scraping noise sounded when his small clawed feet hit the ground. He stood there for a moment and surveyed his surroundings. Suddenly, he saw a cave. He waddled over to it when he was hit by a gust of wind and it smelled like stinky laundry. It ruffled the feathers on his fluffy chest. Puffy was angry because when he got back home he would have to preen his feathers back into position. He stomped into the cave to look for his toily.
As Puffy got farther into the cave, he noticed that the cave had many vines hanging from the ceiling. He stretched his head up and started chewing on one of the vines. It tasted like fabric. He was confused. The vines looked like noodles (his favorite food), but it tasted gross. He flapped in anger over the loss of a treat which also kicked up some dust. Then he heard a noise coming from outside the cave. It sounded like his toily! He ran with all his might tripping on a few bumps in the floor along the way. He squawked to make sure his toily knew he was coming. He burst out of the cave and saw his favorite human holding his toily. He knew his human had stolen the toily! He ran towards his toily but before he could reach it a large object fell from the sky right in front of him. It was his worst enemy. It was the Lego figure with no head and it was holding a golden sword! He attacked it ferociously but it didn’t budge. Puffy decided to try a new tactic. He yanked the sword out of the Lego figure’s hands with his beak and it fell to the ground. Puffy kept running to his toily. Finally he reached it. He stepped onto his human’s finger and he was lifted into the air. “ What were you doing under the laundry cart Puffy????” His human asked. Puffy didn’t really care where he had been. All he cared about was the toily. His human put him on top of his cage in his cardboard barn and left. Puffy was now alone with his toily. But then he noticed some writing on the toily. It read: You will find one million dollars worth of seeds at this location: 39.91811394123889, -105.02057991112103
