Geocache Description:

This cache is NOT at the listed coordinates. You will need to first solve the puzzle to get the 3 sets of six-digit numbers for the Reverse Wherigo cartridge.

V.E. Macy Park is a 172-acre park located in Westchester County, New York, spanning parts of Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, and Irvington. The park is named after V. Everit Macy, the county’s first Commissioner of Public Welfare.

The park is divided into three main sections. The recreational area includes ballfields, a playground, picnic areas, and comfort stations, making it a great spot for family outings and group gatherings. Woodlands Lake, located within the park, provides opportunities for fishing, birdwatching, and access to the South County Trailway, a popular path for walking and cycling. The park is also home to the Great Hunger Memorial, a sculpture honoring Irish immigrants who settled in Westchester during the 19th century.

With its blend of open green spaces, wooded trails, and waterfront views, V.E. Macy Park offers a peaceful setting for outdoor activities and relaxation. It is open daily from morning until dusk.
