Geocache Description:

Please note that the plaque at the second waypoint (To Honor) is temporarily missing and will be replaced ASAP. In the meantime I have posted a picture below the coded sequence for this stage.

Here is a nice 3 part multicache around Webster Groves. You will see 3 different Memorials to members of our Armed Forces. Take a moment to reflect on what these memorials represent.

Each stage of this multi is different, I have solved caches with each of these types of puzzles and many of you have also. I don't consider it all that difficult but I'm giving it a decent Level 3.5 difficulty and a 2.5 terrain.

Here at the posted coordinates you will see the first plaque, use this to solve for Stage 1, N & W:

5/3, 1/3, 8/4, 10/2, . 6/5, 7/3+1, 2/2+2

6/3+2, 1/4-2, 8/1, 10/3-6, . 3/1, 5/5, 10/2

These coordinates will take you to Stage 2

Here you will find "In Honor" and use the following to solve for the next waypoint, again, N & W:

7/1/1, 10/2/1, 1/3/2, 5/2/5, , 8/1/1, 11/2/2, 9/2/5

10/3/4, 2/4, 11/2/1, 4/2/5, . 1/3/11, 3/1/7, 1/1/3

This will take you to Stage 3 where you will need to make a simple projection to the final.

Of course you need data to make a projection! From the plaque here at the third waypoint you will find what info you need.

For the distance in feet, you need 3 digits. The first digit is the number of words on line one, the second digit is how many emblems are on the plaque, and the third digit is the number of vowels in the first word on the fourth line.

Now for the three digits of the bearing, first digit, take the numeric value of the month and subtract 6. second digit, take the day and divide by two, and for the third digit use the third digit of the year. Project for the final from this waypoint.

Park hours are 6:00 am to ½ hour after sunset.
