Geocache Description:

Access to cache is from dirt roads consider when wet.

Well here is your chance to get off the beaten path and discover nature. I'm tired of people calling KS flat! As you near the cache you will discover that flat is not always the case. I hope you enjoy the view of the Smoky River Valley and take time to enjoy the relatively untarnished praire. Be sure to check out the old county seat of Russell Springs. Depending on how you approach the cache the terrain is not too steep, but be careful there are many holes and other irritations that you could twist an ankle in. This cache is located near a dried up water impoundment so there may still be a lot of wildlife in the area. Take time to look around and see if you spot any antelope.

Initial Items in the Cache:
Logbook
Pencils for Logbook
Geocaching Note
A New Lime Green Mag-Lite Solitaire
A Yellow Storm Emergency Whistle
