Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is observed on March 14 (the 3rd month) since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant figures of π, and was first celebrated in the United States.
Geocaching is one again celebrating Pi Day and this year it is for an entire weekend! This year Geocachers have the opportunity to add a Pi Day 2025 souvenir to their profile. Unlike most special event souveniers, this year's Pi Day prize WILL NOT be awarded for attending an event. You must log a Found It on any mystery cache between March 14 and 16.
"What will this event do for you then?", you may ask. Well, it will get you out of the house and get you near an assortment of mystery caches to earn the souvenir. Of course, it will also give you an opportunity to see your fellow Geocachers. There will be opportunities to trade trackables, exchange hints, share stories and maybe even team up to go get that cache to earn your souvenir.
