Geocache Description:

History time: Stookey Township was founded in 1883. It's an unincorporated part of Belleville, often called Belleville West. (Fun Fact: The loop drive of this neighborhood is exactly one mile long, so if you want to track your steps, it's an easy way to see how many miles you have walked.) Several different kinds of wildlife can be observed when walking in the early morning hours and at dusk because of the creek that runs through the middle of the neighborhood. Animals that can be observed include Deer, Racoons, Foxes, Coyotes, and an occasional wild Turkey.

This is our family's first cash it is a traditional easy to locate micro cache, so on my family's behalf I hope you have fun Cacheing. The cache is on private property, and we have permission to use the property. If the homeowner asks you to avoid the driveway and walkway to the home, please be respectful of the homeowners' private areas.
