Noell Civic Center

You are currently standing in the backyard of what used to be the Noell Civic Center. This building was torn down in 2004 and by now has left very few artifacts of its existence, only a few defunct amenities. This old style building dates back way before the construction of Oak Creek Estates, which was built in the 1990's.
The two-story colonial style 4,000sq ft. home was deeded to the city by Linmeade Development Co. in conjunction with a 7.3 acre park site on December 1st 1983. The Noell family are descendants of the Good family who settled here in 1846.
The home was converted to civic use in 1986 and was used mainly for storage. The house closed in 2004. Oak Creek Tennis Center now sits in what used to be the driveway to the Noell home.
Easiest access to the cache is by parking at the northmost section of the tennis center parking lot, and making your way northeast past the two metal appliances and down a small bank. You should then be very close to GZ. High muggle activity during peak tennis hours, however once you are past the tennis courts all you'll have to watch for are dog walkers and trail runners.
You are looking for a well hidden small container that might be easy to spot for experienced geocachers. Please return the log as found inside the small baggie and roll it into the lid of the container before screwing it back in. No tools are needed, and please do not overtighten!
Hope you learned a bit more about this ancient Carrollton gem!
