Welcome to Smithland cemetery per usual please be respectful of the grounds and those resting here, you won't technically have to enter the cemetery for this p&g but I suggest grabbing the other cache nearby so you can experience the grand view of the confluence of the Ohio and Cumberland rivers. Smithland cemetery was founded in 1810 and has a small slave quarter in the back by the water tower as well a good handful of soldiers from many wars and their families alike rest here among those they fought to protect. In my opinion this cemetery is home to one of the most breathtaking fall time views that Livingston county has to offer.
