The 49 km long Ross River stretches from the Ross River Dam to the Coral Sea and is Townsville's primary drinking water source. Aside of its importance for the city, the river offers great opportunities for recreational activities, including walks, fishing, water skiing and kayaking. So, let's get out there and enjoy the water! Maybe you can spot some butterflies 🦋, birds 🦚, wallabies 🦘, fish 🐟, turtles  🐢 or freshwater crocodiles 🐊 along the way.
