LA MADONNA DELLA NEVE - ITA
La chiesetta della Madonna della neve si trova Gignese, paesino di villeggiatura a metà strada tra Stresa e il Mottarone. Da questo punto si può tranquillamente raggiungere a piedi sia la panchina del troll che il Giardino Botanico Alpinia.
Chiesetta, costruita in sasso, con portico bianco prospicente e laterale, che nell'insieme della costruzione richiama vagamente il Sant'Ambrogio di Milano. Moderna, consona alle ville che la circondano, ha nell'interno, di una sola navata, il piccolo altare la balaustra ed il confessionale, a vernici gialle e verdi. Il soffitto è a travature in legno scuro, i muri candidi, le lampade votive ed un lampadario centrale in bel ferro battuto. Piccole finestre ai lati protette da inferriate.

Small churh, built of stone, with a withe portico overlooking and on the side, which as a whole vaguely recalls Sant'Ambrogio in Milan.
Modern, in keeping with the villas that surround it, it has a single nave inside, a small altar, a baluwstrade and a confessional, painted in yellow and green. the ceiling has dark wooden beams, the withe walls, the votive lamps and a central chandelier in beautiful wrought iron. Small windows on the side protect by railings.
