What to expect
For our Fourth event we'll take a look at a humble painter and decorator by day, an avid
lepidopterist by night!
Take a glimpse into the life of William Prest (1824 - 1894) - The Butterfly collector.
Simply mark your attendance and join us on the day and gather at the posted co-ordinates at the allotted time, please note there will not be a log book or trackable drop off point at this event. Feel free to bring your own refreshments if you’d like to enjoy tea and biscuits during the session.

- Children are warmly welcome but must be supervised at all times.
- Dogs are not permitted within the cemetery grounds, except for registered assistance dogs.
- Please remember that York Cemetery is a working cemetery. We kindly ask all visitors to act respectfully while on site.
