Snowshoeing is great!!
It's like hiking but not as hot. Plus lots of snow to cool you off when you do start to sweat!
Unfortunately there are not enough snow friendly caches. And it's not fun to shovel five feet of snow to find a pill bottle...or worse!
I went on a short trip and placed a few. It should be fun to see how much/how little snow I was standing on when placing them.
*Congrats to Grumpywombat and Oreoshakers for the well-earned FTF! It's not everyday someone goes snowshoeing without snowshoes!
*update* After taking a trip up there recently to check on things, this one is much harder to get to in the spring. Turns out when the snow melts it uncovers a river between the cache and the road. Bring some water shoes and maybe a reaching tool.
