I always pick up trash while out on the trails whether I am caching or not. I don't understand how people comeing to enjoy nature could be so careless with it, but I know as geocachers we are stewards of the earth. I was here in the shadow of Yonah Mountain not too long ago and noticed that there was a good bit of trash around. I came back to place a cache and did some cleaning while I was at it a real CITO situation. I, in no way, was able to get it all and I thought this would be a good place for a CITO. The area surounding the parking lot is still beautiful even if you dont want to climb the mountain, which I am not expecting you to do. I will have trash bags but you may want to come equipped with gloves and or a trash grabber if you have them. There are 2 seperate picnic tables first come style so I plan on commendering one of those as a base of sorts. I will have a drawing for a prize or 2, more if I am able, to those who come and join in. The terrain varries from level around the parking lot to a bit hilly further out, any ability is welcome and encouraged.
