This is a Cache In Trash Out Event
- Caches are IN. Time to Trash OUT.
Purpose? To remove trash from the Island at posted coords and the surrounding waterways. Let's better the environment not only for humans but the greater St. Joeseph River ecosystem.
History: We have removed many items during our river floats. Lots of bottles and plastics(tub of cottage cheese) but also some stray recreational balls, a wooden canoe oar, a shoe, blanket and many other pieces of litter.
Every little bit helps and I look forward to cleaning a small portion of this Earth with you.
Meet at posted coords. You will need a boat, kayak, canoe or floatation device to reach the island.
Bring your CITO gear. If you need rubber gloves or a plastic bag, I will have them at the posted parking from 8-9am.
