Here we go once again bumping through the ONF on a ForrestMinions adventure.........this time as we hit the soft sand trails and whoooop deee doos we noted that it was indeed shaking our bones......so we have named this one the & Bone Run since all 206 of our human bones were rattling along the way.
In order not to get frustrated while heading out for these finds, you will likely find the following equipment to be handy:
A four wheel drive vehicle, a long pole, a long telescoping ladder, good shoes, pants, a tree climber, water shoes, an even longer pole and a metal detector.
Make sure to also pack plenty of food, drink, and a lot of patience if you want to find them all.
Again there are well maintained soft sand trails and some wet/muddy spots along the way through the ONF, so a four wheeled drive vehicle would be extremely useful. However for the most savage of bone hunters, you could always hike by foot the entire way.
Enjoy the hides and keep your eyes peeled for bears.....we did see one making a hasty retreat once they spotted us.
