This is Tothybowie Lake. We had a cache here for years until a homeless situation made the cache unfriendly. There has been some tree damage so we had to replaced the cache. The homeless camp is now gone.
I have not found any information on Tothybowie Lake. I was searching with Google Earth and saw the lake name. No other reference on google. Because of the road construction, homeless camp and general disrespect for the area, there is now a gate here. It used to be a quiet place to camp on the lake. There is even a small place to launch a canoe or small boat. The Alaska railroad goes right by here several times a day. This is a beautiful area as is the entire Turnagain Arm. Enjoy.
