V roce 2024 slavíme 100 let od vzniku první britské červené telefonní budky. Odhaduje se, že v letech 1926 až 1935 bylo v Londýně postaveno 1500 až 1700 Scottových telefonních budek K2. Zhruba dvě stovky z nich existují dodnes a organisace English Heritage jim udělila status pamatky 2. stupně.
