Redeemer Lutheran Cemetery, also known as St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, is located South of Didsbury. The Town of Didsbury began to be settled in 1894 by German Mennonites. Original settlement in the area was sparse. The first concern of settlers was to build a church; and the primary task of the settlers was to create farmsteads.
In 1902, Rev. Victor Gruber began missionary work after many Lutheran families moved into the area. Originally, they used Westcott Baptist Church until they could build their own in 1908 at a cost of $323.35. By 1945, this Lutheran Church and the Redeemer Lutheran Church (in Didsbury) merged and built a new church in 1948. As the church began to need repairs, it was decided to build a whole new faacility, completed in 1980 and still in use today.

Cache is a bison on the fence, available from outside the cemetery.
