The Westcott Cemetery is one of the most beautiful in the area. The Westcott Church used to stand on the west end on the top of the hill. A brief history of the church can be found on the plaque that now stands on the former location of the church. In brief:
- 1901 a Presbyterian Church was built, costing $251. Prior to that, services were held in people's homes.
- 1925 it changed to a United Church (United Church of Canada was formed, amalgamating the Presbyterian, Methodist and Congregational churches).
- 1946 the church burned to the ground during renovations.
- 1948 a new church was built (August of that year it was dedicated).
- 1989 the church closed and most of the items were auctioned off to the community.
- 1995 the building was moved to Madden and has a second life as part of Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation.

The cache is hanging on the fence outside of the cemetery. It is not necessary to enter the cemetery to retrieve it but if you do go inside the cemetery, please be respectful.
