Bunkers Hill is locality a short distnce west of Ballarat.
According to Wikipedia, at the 2021 census Bunkers Hill had a population of 270. Bunkers Hill was originally a gold rush settlement, and diggings there opened up around 1859. The locality was previously known as Kopke and Trunk Lead. A two–room state school at Bunkers Hill was active in the early 19th century but burned down in a 1934 fire.
