Geocache Description:

Please don’t move my caches. I am very specific of where I hide them and if they are in the wide open that not only takes the fun out of finding them but it makes them susceptible to be stolen or destroyed by non cachers. Or muggles. I spend a lot of money on containers to make it fun.

I have had so many requests for me to put these caches out. You will have to hike in to these caches which will lead you to a favorite hiking, horse riding and dirt bike location named Tim's Canyon.  This starts out as an old road that is not drivable but is hikable. Follow the "road" around a pile of rubble that has been jokingly named Daniel's Diner. (Don't forget to grab the cache named Daniel"s Diner too). Number 1 in this series will be right off that road/trail. Eventually the road will turn into a foot trail. When you come upon the "intersection" you will take a sharp right. Shorly after that you will find number 2 in the series then you will Continue on down the trail and you will start seeing the Canyon on the left. It is very beautiful through there. All other caches in the series will continue to be off this foot trail. Going down into the Canyon is fun too. There are many entrances down into the Canyon.

There may be wildlife and other nature attributes close by.

This cache is the second in the series. (located on the trail after you turn right at the intersection)

The Owl. Owls are birds that prey on small animals. They can carry small animals in their Talons as they fly. They are mainly nocturnal and are usually alone. However, there are some that mate for life. There are over 200 species of Owls. Owls have exceptional night vision and their flight is silent. Their hearing is very sharp. All of these functions help them to hunt. They are on the high-end of the food chain. Their songs vary by species. Some have deep soft hoots with a stuttering rhythm. There are also screech owls that sound like they are screaming. They are called wise because their heads can turn all the way so they can see all around them.

The Wise Old Owl (Nursery Rhymn written in 1875 then later revised in 1930 for grammatical reasons)

A wise old owl lived in an oak,

The more he saw, the less he spoke

The less he spoke, The more he heard

Now, wasn't he a wise old bird?

Large Container with log only. BYOP No room for swag. Please leave as you found it.

As with any of my caches if you have trouble or feel any of my caches are gone or need maintenance please contact me as I will be out immediately to check on it. Please do not replace or move any of my caches.

Happy Hunting.
