This is a circular walk along part of The Weaver's Way past the disused Felmingham Station into the lovely village of Felmingham, which has a Church, village Hall, village sign and post office. Then back via public footpaths close to Bryant's Heath.
Felmingham is famous for it's conection with the 1381 Peasant's revolt as the leader Geoffrey Litster a local dyer lead a group of rebels on a march to Norwich. The rebels were met by the forces of the crown at the battle of North Walsham and were defeated. Litster was captured and was exeuted by the method of being hung, drawn and quartered and allegedly his remains were displayed in the village as a warning to the people.
