I went to check my Pine Top Hill #2 cache today and found it to be missing, rather then replacing it I decided to hide a new cache marking the summit of this big hill. I used the new "Ten Years Gone Trail or Jumped Up Trail" to access the area. This trail takes off form the north section of the Jumpingpound Creek Trail close to where it crosses Hwy 68 near the entrance to K-Country. I parked on the edge of the road by this crossing. The new trail climbs to the top of the ridge via many beautifully constructed switchbacks. Cachers should leave the main trail and head to this cache after passing around a minor high point signed "SOLO HILL".
The cache is a large plastic ammo can style container.
